The 20th annual Phoenixville Community Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, April 5, at Phoenixville Area Middle School is held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. each year and recognizes those community members who work to affect positive change and promote cooperative living and diversity in the community.

This year’s Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Award was presented to Cheryl and Barry Messere and the Emma Valenteen Award of ‘Compassion’ was awarded to Irene Lisinski.
